Mofo RC BigBlockX Motor for SCX24

Unleash Extreme Power and Speed:
The BigBlockX motor is Mofo RC’s high-performance brushed motor upgrade for the SCX24, built for those who crave raw speed and torque. Featuring massive Neodymium magnets and a high-output design, this motor is capable of running on 2S or 3S batteries and works with both stock and aftermarket ESCs.

Identified by the laser-engraved “X”, the BigBlockX looks similar to the original BigBlock but is tuned for higher RPM and torque at the expense of some low-speed smoothness. This makes it an ideal option for users prioritizing speed and power over ultra-precise crawling control.

ESC Compatibility

For optimal low-speed performance and throttle control, we recommend using a quality ESC such as:

• Mofo RockWolf ESC
• Furitek
• Dinky ESC

However, it can also be run on the stock ESC if you're just looking to go fast and bash hard.

 

Mounting & Orientation

This motor can be installed in either a forward-facing or rearward-facing orientation depending on your skid plate setup. It includes an aluminum forward-facing mount compatible with both:

• Mod 0.3 pitch (stock gearing)
• Mod 0.5 pitch (aftermarket spur gears)

Depending on the mount, you may need to reverse motor wire pins or adjust throttle direction through your ESC or transmitter.

 

Pinion Gear Options

The BigBlockX is available with multiple pinion gear configurations to suit your performance goals:

• 24T Steel Pinion – Mod 0.3 stock pitch (high speed)
• 14T Steel Pinion – Mod 0.5 aftermarket pitch (torquey but fast)
